hOOOd is a new Czech platform and label founded in 2024 by Kryštof Netolický and Chef3000 in collaboration with other creative minds like Dishmo (Sticks & Stones ).
Kryštof is a painter, graphic designer and music producer with a love for analog synthesizers. Together with Chef3000 they make electronic music — their latest album iN Love agaiN is streaming everywhere, also available on a rare cassette, or for download in high-quality WAV format.
Chef is also a creative mind, working in video production, editing, sound design, as well as mixing and mastering and, of course, making his own music and slowed & chopped remixes. Kryštof can be reached for paintings, canvases, prints, or custom commissions — like these examples. Dishmo is, among many things, a master of sound engineering and building sound systems.
We are hOOOd. Let’s be neighbors.
We invite you to the opening of Kryštof Netolický’s painting exhibition at Kavárna Trojka!
Kryštof Netolický (b. 1985) is a Brno-based artist whose vibrant work captivates audiences with its instantly recognizable style, social sensitivity, and unique sense of humor. As a keen observer of urban life, his art can be found not only on canvas but also in public spaces — through murals, guerrilla pieces, and street art that resonates with audiences well beyond the younger generation.
Netolický is an artist in a state of constant creative ignition — one might even say he’s trending right now.
Over the past year, he has exhibited in increasingly prestigious galleries across the Czech Republic, including GASK – Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region (Kutná Hora), The Chemistry Gallery (Prague), and Galerie Pakosta (Litomyšl).
Join us on October 16th from 6:00 PM to experience his work right in the heart of his home city — in the distinctive and atmospheric setting of the legendary Kavárna Trojka, Dominikánská 9.
The great news is that the upcoming exhibition, titled While You’re Not Looking (Zatímco se nedíváš), will feature mostly brand-new works — shown to the public for the very first time. Expect also a few surprises, possibly including a live music performance.
The exhibition will feature a special sound experience provided by hOOOd sound system, an exceptional project by Dishmo and Honza Mikač under the Stick & Stone design label.
The visual design of the system was created by Kryštof Netolický himself, while its sound delivers an almost psychedelic listening experience — something every sound and acoustics enthusiast should hear live.
The music lineup also includes Chef3000, a longtime collaborator of Kryštof’s, with whom he recently released a cassette under their hOOOd project titled iN Love agaiN.
Chef3000 (Jan Klimovič) and Kryštof Netolický (FKA Crys) present a new project hOOOd, which brings their first joint album called In Love Again. After two previous joint mixtapes Sweets & Cookies and Sweets & Cookies II, which contained their original tracks and remixes and were released as DJ mixes, i.e. always as one track allowing continuous listening, this time it is a full-fledged LP, which is more or less conceptual and which has also received a professional sound. The theme is of course love, whether rediscovered between the performers each other or between them and the music.
The skeleton of the album was created in two days in the Chef3000 studio and it took another two years to fine-tune the project. The only guest on the album is DJ Arsen in a special “scratch” track, with which hOOOd pays homage to the boom bap era of hip hop.
